Ikorodu Bois, a group of teenage boys have attained fame on Nigerian social media space in recent months for their unique remakes of blockbuster Hollywood movie trailers and popular music videos.
This group made up of 15-year-old Muiz Sanni, 10-year-old Malik Sanni and 13-year-old Fawas Aina, with their 23-year-old brother Babatunde Sanni, who manages and edits their videos has gonna viral over their remake of the recent Hollywood movie trailers on Netflix.
The latest project of the boys, which is the re-enactment of the Netflix thriller, Extraction which came out in April.
To their surprise, Russo Brothers, the producers of Extraction reached out to Ikorodu Bois on Twitter extending to them an invitation for the premiere of the next installment of Extraction.
Russo Brothers tweeted, “This is awesome! We would love to have you guys at the #Extraction 2 premiere…DM us, and we’ll get you there!” In their response, Ikorodu Bois said, “This would be a dream come through and this is the day we’ve been waiting for all our lives.”
This is not the first time the group would attain international recognition for their art.
Months ago, they caught the attention of Will Smith for their recreation of Bad Boys Forever trailer. They’ve also caught the attention of American basket baller Lebron James and actor, Dwayne Johnson.
