Hungry Residents Scramble For Spaghetti During An Accident At UTC Junction

Residents near UTC Junction in Port Harcourt have rushed to the scene of an accident to scramble for spaghetti which scattered on the road moments after an accident occured.

The accident involved a minibus and a trailer loaded with cartons of spaghetti at UTC Junction.
According to an eyewitness, the residents rushed to the scene with different sizes of bags and began to pack the pieces of noodles that littered the ground as they complained of hunger.

Some residents could be seen removing their shirts and using them to pack the spaghetti. Some were literally sholving themselves in flagrant disregard of the COVID 19 social distance guideline.

A middle-aged man who refused to mention his name said the food was a blessing from God because they had been hungry due to the lockdown occasioned by COVID-19.
