Outrage As Autopsy Says George Floyd's Underlying Health Condition Contributed To His Death

In the viral video recording of George Floyd’s death, police officer Derek Chauvin was seen kneeling on George’s neck. The video was almost 10 minutes long and for most of it, Derek had his knee on George’s neck even as the Black man complained that he couldn’t breathe.

As Derek Chauvin knelt on George’s neck, two other officers held George down by his stomach and legs. Even after George started bleeding from his nose and became unconscious, Derek didn’t stop kneeling on his neck which eventually led to George’s death.

However, an autopsy conducted revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation and that George Floyd’s health condition contributed to his death.
