Nigeria Records 148 New Cases Of COVID-19 On 5th May

148 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in Nigera on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, NCDC says in its Twitter account.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has disclosed that as at 11:40pm on 5th May, the following states recorded new cases of COVID-19: 43 were recorded in Lagos,  32 in Kano, 14 in Zamfara, 10 in FCT, 9 in Katsina, 7 Taraba, 6 Borno, 6 Ogun, 5 Oyo, 3 Edo, 3 Kaduna, 3 Bauchi, 2 Adamawa, 2 Gombe, 1 Plateau, 1 Sokoto and 1 Kebbi.

The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria is now 2950. While 481 patients have been discharged from various Isolation centers across the country, 98 deaths have been recorded.
