Donald Trump Reacts To North Korean Leader, Kim Jong-un's Reappearance Amid Death Rumors

US President, Donald Trump has reacted to the reappearance of North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, who was reportedly said to be unable to walk.

Trump retweeted North Korean state media photos of Kim attending a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Factory and wrote: “I, for one, am glad to see he is back, and well!”

This was Kim’s first public appearance in about three weeks after intense speculation over his health when he failed to attend his late grandfather’s birthday celebration on 15 April.

At that time, there were reports that he underwent a life-saving heart surgery, which either wasn’t done rapidly enough, or it was botched completely by the surgeon.

KCNA news agency reported that Mr. Kim cut the ribbon at the opening of the fertiliser factory on Friday, and added that crowds “broke into thunderous cheers of hurrah” when he appeared.

According to Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Mr Kim was accompanied by several senior North Korean officials, including his sister Kim Yo-jong.
